Frequently Asked Questions
Where is Villa Nuri?
Villa Nuri lies in the heart of Reserva Conchal, which sits on the northern Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. Reserva Conchal is home to a long, beautiful, family friendly white sand beach—one of the best in Costa Rica—and many amenities like a Robert Trent Jones II golf course. The town of Tamarindo is 20-30 minutes to the south.
How do I get to Villa Nuri from the airport?
We’re about an hour by from Guanacaste Airport (LIR). You can either rent a car or we can arrange transportation.
Do I need a car?
If you mainly want to hang out within the resort, it may not be necessary to rent a car. Some guests prefer this approach. The golf cart can get you to the beach and we can arrange daily transportation with a driver. Uber also operates in the area.
What’s the weather like?
There are three seasons. December through April is the dry season with sunny days and little rain. Even though it’s technically “winter”, locals call it summer! The trees gradually lose their leaves and the landscape becomes very dry by March. Fortunately, Villa Nuri overlooks the golf course and central resort area which is irrigated and remains green. Rain returns in May and the period through August is the green season with mostly sunny days and some rain. September through November is the rainy season, but given the huge roof and indoor-outdoor space, even the rainy season is a pleasant at Villa Nuri.
Is it safe?
Reserva Conchal is a gated resort with guarded entrances and regular security patrols throughout. Villa Nuri sits in the middle of the resort in the Cocobolo subdivision that has its own gated entrance. Reserva Conchal is an extremely safe place for your vacation.
Can I drink the water?
The tap water at Villa Nuri is safe to drink! It comes from the same desalination and water treatment plant used to supply the W and Westin hotels.
